About HVY

I created HvyFitness in response to the body shaming that still occurs in society. This brand advocates for individuals who don't feel included or are otherwise left out of the fitness industry as a whole. In a society that is adamant about making you feel uncomfortable in your own skin by continuously adopting unrealistic beauty standards, HvyFitness aims to restore your comfort and be there while you build your confidence. 

As a curvy-athletic woman myself, I have had my fair share of product rejection and lack of realistic body representation in the media.  So, I've created a movement, an athletic club, that is as all inclusive as possible; and what better way to start than to coin the term that was once used against us — HEAVY.

With this brand, I aspire to change the rules of the health and fitness game by including comfy, trendy, fitness apparel to people of all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and cultures. There is no size limit to beauty or fitness and HvyFitness stands firm in that belief.
